Dubai marina beach

Today I woke up 6 oclock in the morning.. ah I am day off today. My plan is to read and study about so many things about blogging. but then i felt lazy to read and decided to go to the beach.
Dubai Marina beach is the closest in my place so I went there by taxi, it cost 18 aed. Then I take a breakfast in Chowking it cost 17 aed, it was nice coz its a Filipino Chinese restaurant, way back in manila I always eat in chowking.
Its summer now in dubai, even its 7 am in the morning the humidity is very hot that is why swimming is the best thing to do. as early as 7 am the beach is crowded already. Different people, mix nationality. I enjoy watching these people some wearing thong and some wearing abaya while swimming, some are really funny. The beach is open with a huge car park, hotels and restaurant, but the only problem is there is no public changing and shower room.
Dubai Marina is a nice place to walk, to eat , to relax and to met new friends. Some of the establishement here are open 24 hours.
Around 11 am when i go home, I take a shower and then I sleep after. I woke up around 2 pm, I eat then I clean the house , I check my facebook computer things etc. and now 1 am early morning I am writing this while eating instant noodles and orange juice.

Lemon Dressing

Lemon dressing is a very popular dressing of mix green leaves,or leafy salad. All the hotels and restaurant are serving salad with this dressing.
I remember when I was new in the kitchen, I do not have any idea about this salad dressing. But the chefs are very much willing to teach me and I want to learn of course.
There are different ways but I am going to teach you what I've learned from my chef.
We need the following:
1/2 cup Lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon Mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
1 cup corn oil
1 tbsp honey or sugar syrup.
salt
pepper

1.In a blender put the lemon juice, mustard, sugar syrup or honey and blend it.
2.While blending add the olive oil and corn oil little by little or slowlyb slowly or gradually.(lol..how come i do not know the correct grammar)
3.Add salt and peper or more lemon etc depending on your taste.

Through times you will learn different techniques on making lemon dressing. why it separates from oil and how not to separate. the thickness of the dressing, the taste of course.

Some chef they add some grilled shallots, lemon zest, thyme etc.
And these is the job of the chefs. To get the maximum taste of their salad.

Around the world

Everybody wants to travel and backpacked the world, easy to say but very difficult to do if you do not have TIME and MONEY.
When i was in the Philippines all I want is to travel and see all the beautiful and natural wonders of the Philippines, But I do not have money to do that. If I have money I cannot because I do not have time. TIME and MONEY is very important.
Life is still the same but At least I've been in Thailand for 15 days and i enjoyed it. Thailand is good, has a lot of nice beaches, people are friendly but very difficult to communicate most people do not speak english.
I want to see the castles in romania, the pyramid in egypt, the mountains in himalaya, the opera house in australia, beautiful people in venezuela, the green environment in new zealand, the technolgy in japan, the nightlife in ibiza, the busy life in new york. china, singafore, hongkong etc. and of course The Philippines.

European in Dubai

Well This is life.
A lot of people wants to go to europe coz they think they will have a good life in there. but did you know that there are so many europeans who really love to work, stay and live a good life here in Dubai. Some of them work as a food server, bartender, salesman and the most are profesionals.
Here are some of the reasons why these people wants to works and live a good life in here.
Lot's of mix beautiful lady. lol

Limited crime
Mix nationalities
Opportunity to travel to some interesting close by destinations
Lot's of holiday
Kids playing with other kids from all over the world

And you know what? There are some european who like Dubai because of the heat of Summer.

And they want to erase what they posted on facebook.

A lot of people are using Facebook these days. as we all know this is really a big help to connect to the people who are really a matter to us, these also help us to find new friends and learn what they are doing in life. These also help us to be updated for what is going on around us, around the world.
As we all know with facebook we can post and broadcast anything we have in mind, things like "i am very happy today" and its not always like that. as we are all emotional and sometimes do not have control on what we are posting. We should be careful in everything we post, its much worst than we just say it. because we are writing it and everybody who matter to us can see it. and for sure some of them will be ofended if in case you post something bad like "I hate my boss". careful this might be a cause for you get terminated in your job.

This facebook issue is now botherings some of my collegue here in my new job. some of them deleted their previous posted messages and now starting to apologize for what they posted.

Yesterday morning all department head recieved an email from the General Manager giving a warning to all the employees not to post something bad related to the job or to the company coz this might be a cause of their termination.

What happened is, the headquarter in Italy has seen this posted messages in facebook " after working staright for 1 month without day off and working more than 10 hours each day and they called me while I am sleeping to say i need to come to work at 6 am. f__k mangement" and then the headquarter email the GM and the GM emailed to all the department regarding the warning.

And i heard a lot of news regarding termination with regards to posting messages in facebook. like the staffs of one airline company when one flight stewards says "we have a lot of monkey passengers" accompany by a picture.
So be careful..
Lets just live the goodlife.

Means of Transportation in Dubai

Dubai Transportation is using a NOL card, its a prepaid card that you can use as a ticket to use public transportation in Dubai and soon you can use the prepaid card to shop in most groceries in Dubai. This Dubai NOL prepaid card is reloadable of up to 500AED and is valid for 5 years. This card can be buy at any Dubai Metro stations for only 20 AED with 14 aed value that you can use to travel. I suggest for the tourist who will stay in Dubai for a couple of days to have this Prepaid card instead of one time travel ticket. As we all know Dubai is the fastest ever growing city in the world today. When it comes to infrstructure, technology and transportation Dubai has everything to offer


Taxi : dubai taxi is all over the city. they chrages plug down of 3 aed and minimum fare of 10 aed. Inside is clean, with music, gps, meter, some has magazine for you to read, comments and they have a reciept in case you need it. The driver is wearing Uniform and they speak english. they are friendly actually, but you'll hate it coz some to most of them has body odor.

Carlift: this is another means of transpo here in Dubai. You will find them ussually in the mall approaching you asking Carlift sir. they ussually charges the same like the metered taxi only its negotiable. but be careful for security reason its not advisable to take this coz its not legitimate in dubai.

Dubai Bus: The only thing i hate is the smell of the other passenger who are not aware of their bad smell. The rest is good. iside there is monitor a Gps like where in you will know the next bus stop. buzzer if you want to go down, the seats are comportable, you can see the view outside good for sight seeing, the ticket is a reloadable prepaid card which you can also use for the metro train. they chrages 1 aed + minimum, therse is no music, special seats for ladies and family.

Dubai Metro: Dubai metro is cool. but then again the smell of the other will make you vomit the food you just ear before taking  the metro. Dubai metro is nice for long travel. nice view outside. when you use the metro its like your see the whole dubai. Inside is a clean and comportable seats, a little bit boring coz they have only one music, no print ads no Tv commercial etc. they have purely regulations of using the metro.They have nice airconditioned metro station. loading machine for prepaid ticket card, friendly passengers assistants. youll enjoy your travel.

Dubai abra and Water bus : Its really nice, it will be one of a good experience if you take abra when travelling to other side of the creek.

Shawarma

Shawarma is a middle eastern food, sandwich like wrap of chicken beef or a mixture of halal meat that is grilled in a special shawarma machine or griller. This sandwich is popular all over the world. Here in Dubai you will see it along the streets cafe and restaurants and in the hotels.
It cost from 1 aed from street cafeteria and around 75 aed in Armani Hotel and burj al Arab.

This is usually marinated with yougurt and some spices to get the maximum taste. sided with arabic picles, garlic mayo or tahina sauce.

You can do it at home the easy way. you do not need the shwarma grilling mchine. most hotel do this way.
sample recipe:
1. marinated the chicken with plain yogurt,salt pepper, coriander powder any spices put some herbs if you want. at least 1 hour of marinating to taste.
2. Cooked it in a pan add some seasoning to satisfy your taste.
3. prepare tortilla wraper and put some slice tomato, onion and slice gerkins and the cooked shawarma and wrap it in your desired size.
4. Its ready to eat
5.But if you have panini machine it will be good coz you can make the shawarma roll really crispy and good tasting.
