Shawarma

Shawarma is a middle eastern food, sandwich like wrap of chicken beef or a mixture of halal meat that is grilled in a special shawarma machine or griller. This sandwich is popular all over the world. Here in Dubai you will see it along the streets cafe and restaurants and in the hotels.
It cost from 1 aed from street cafeteria and around 75 aed in Armani Hotel and burj al Arab.

This is usually marinated with yougurt and some spices to get the maximum taste. sided with arabic picles, garlic mayo or tahina sauce.

You can do it at home the easy way. you do not need the shwarma grilling mchine. most hotel do this way.
sample recipe:
1. marinated the chicken with plain yogurt,salt pepper, coriander powder any spices put some herbs if you want. at least 1 hour of marinating to taste.
2. Cooked it in a pan add some seasoning to satisfy your taste.
3. prepare tortilla wraper and put some slice tomato, onion and slice gerkins and the cooked shawarma and wrap it in your desired size.
4. Its ready to eat
5.But if you have panini machine it will be good coz you can make the shawarma roll really crispy and good tasting.

Facial Tissues

 

I was on the mall running on my way going to the toilet. I really need to use this toilet bowl and deposit some shit. The bad thing this mall do not have ass washer.  I end up removing my underwear and used it to wipe the shit on my ass.

 

Since then I always have tissue paper with me, on my pocket or on my bag.

Tissue paper is really a big help. you know what I mean.

Lifestyle:

People in here really has a nice lifestyle. Its actually depends on what and how you want it.

Yes there are lots of disco in here you can dance until 3 am as you like, and you'll enjoy and get drunk also with different varieties of alcoholic beverages available in the licensed to sell alcoholic beverages bars, restaurant, hotel and some alcoholic beverages seller. You just need to be careful not go out and be obvious as drunk coz for sure they will put you in jail. and do you know what will happen to you in jail? prepare your ass. lol.

Employment:

Mixed nationalities people are working here in dubai. so its good that you will meet and learn the culture of different people. The minimum salary is ranging from 1000 aed depending on the positions and the company. Most company usually provides everything for you ie: food transpo accommodation insurance etc, all you need to do is do your job. You do not need to worry about electricity bill, house rental etc. and you can have your full salary without any deductions.

Some good company treasures their employees so they are providing them a really nice accommodation with gym, swimming poll even free Internet and cable connection. But of course there are some unlucky employees who didn't get these privileges and some employees have even worst.

Environment:

Most part of Dubai is still a desert, but you will not noticed it coz you will be amaze with the nice buildings, elevated roads and flyover, high tech Hotel, prepaid card transportation, huge shopping mall, nice parks and beaches, luxury cars on the street, sexy and beautiful people (of course also lot of ugly and bad smell people).

Very hot on summer as you will see people sweating their body walking on the street, and nice cool on winter where people are walking, relaxing and watching the nice landscape along the parks and the street.

Security

Dubai is one of the safe place. Government of UAE, dubai is very strict so people are careful not to do bad, if they do and they cought thel will put on jail, and what will happen to you in jail?....prepare your ass. lol..

Life is good

Your manager, your boss and any superior you have.

Most of the time these people are overseeing the things that you are doing. they sometimes also care for your personal life. Some of them might good and some of course are not. Some really care to their job and some are just there to work.

I learned so many things in dealing with different superior. in the beggining as we do not know them yet lets try to do the right things, the standard and little by little understand their personality and do things the way they wanted.

I remember my boss in the restaurant where I worked as a service crew. She is really good to the guest, but for the employee he is really strict as she is not approachable. But as time passed by i learned how to deal with him, I do things right, the standard. I become a yes mam to her. til tyhe time comes and she likes me. and i got a promotion and another one and so on. and i can talk to her nicely.

And that is what i have said to the other collegue, at least do the standard when she's there. be nice at least with her.
maybe you'll become really nice.

very important. NEVER ARGUE WITH YOUR SUPERIOR. maybe you are right but keep it with your self. find the correct time to explain your point. not on the time that he or she is mad.

On my way to Dubai

Two years ago.

I just finished my work and and when I am on my way to go home i recieved a message from somebody. It says they want me to come for a initial interview. I was surprised coz it was already 1 year since I submit applications for overseas job. So I was thinking that it maybe some kind of scam and i have doubt about it. But then I decided to go coz this one might be real. Coz really I am not happy anymore in my job, doing things the same everyday made me think of leaving the company.

So I came for the interview. There are lot of people in along queue of the parking area of the building. Some people are looked familiar so I decide to talk with them. And they said they got the same message. And i learned that the people from this recruitment agency are the same people where I submitted my papers a year ago. they just leave the old company and move to another one. Well these people has agood reputation coz in their previous presentation from the old company they deploy a lot of people abroad and some of these people are friends of friends, we know etc etc.

In there they just gave us some advices on how tos, grooming etc. and schedule of final interview with the GMs of this company.

I was pretty excited and nervous on the interview day coz that will be the first time i am going to talk to a foreigner. Anyway I did my best to comes out the real me and tried very hard to be confident on the interview. I know i ddnt deliver my english properly, as i said this is the first time that i really need to speak in english. anyway i felt that i satesfied the GMs after the interview, it was 3 interview actually. the GM, The HR manager and the Chef. I have smile on face when i left the building.

On the way i talked to other how was the interview and they said they don't feel good about it. so its different feeling. I really felt that i have the chance.

For less than a month they said they will call or email us if we passed the interview and give us detail on how to get the job. I am not hoping to get it just for me not to be dissapointed. I go to work as normal, tried to be happy, joking etc. And yes after a month I got a call and they are asking me to come to the recruitment agency to sign the contract. And yes i read all the details, Ill be working as a legumier ina Golf club in the dubai. I searched it in the internet and get excited about it. And this is the good news , There is no placement fee or salary deductions or any form of payment to the agency, all I need to do are give them all the documents needed and of course I need to go on in a medical check up at my own expense. and thats all. Done it all and I just wait for the visa. I was worried coz the promise to leave the country was always move to another date, cancelled etc. I talk to other guys who also got the job and the same as me worried also. But things gose well after they booked us for a plane wherein all of us 40 people are leaving at the same time and will go to dubai.

The day before the flight we had a despidida party wherein we bring our own food and we share it. In there we get to know each other and most of us will fly for the first time.

On the airport. I was very excited , like our flight is 7 am but I am already there at 11 pm. i observed the people and its like that I saw people crying, parents and their children, grand parents, love ones. It was a very sad moment for them. But its another hope for others.

That was my first time in the airplane, i just hate the feeling when i cannot hear, like a deaf and cannot hear sounds when the plane is moving up or down very fast. I realized that it was normal and the others feel the same.

Welcome to Dubai international airport. Finally were in Dubai. It was good a lot of people, different nationalities, i noticed that most of the employees of the airport are Filipinos. Oh they is how they need us.

We meet the Golf club staff and gave us a welcome smile. it feels really good to welcome that way. They are very welcoming. when i was on the plane I was worried that our employer might be not good. But then The company is good.

We reached the staff acommodation. and we are surprised because its one nice building.

Love...

Yea yea yea.. everybody fall in love.... but why like this. why there is an end for this love? and why someone need to suffer for this love. WHY?........................................................................................................................................................



Maybe you'll say.. She's not the right one for you. You'll find someone better.

Yea we are coming to that but what I am saying is the pain. The pain left after leaving of the one you love.Its okay if you don't love each other anymore maybe there is no pain after the split... But this time you still love her and she does'nt love you anymore. What do you think you're gonna do? Insist her to stay. tell her to give one more chance? Be amartyr? It's a difficult situation.. it feels like no more chance for a living. what for?. This is the time someone thinking negatively. That's why he need someone to guide him to the right way.

Broken hearted people ussually tends to be alone and this is the time a friend should be there at all times. A friend can help to heal the wound of a broken hearted one.

Finding New Job.

Nowadays as too many company are laying off a lot of people because of economic crisis. It seems that finding a new Job is quit not easy. But of course it defends coz there are companies who are still working very well and not affected by the current recession. So therfore they have a lot of choices of choosing the best possible employee.

In my case... The management of my company is about to leave. And it put as in trouble as we don't know what will happened to us. There are speculation that we might be absurb by the new management but in a lesser salary than what we get from my current company. Because of this some of us decide to resign and some are looked for a new job.

Because of this our GM gave us an options. 1. Resign and go back to origin country. 2. Resign and stay in this country and find a new Job. 3 Stay with the new management. The good thing is our GM endorse us for a possible job in a three Hotel who are in need of a new employees for their upcoming project.

We have a great time in our current company. They treat us good that make us proud being a part of it. If therse no crisis in other regions possibilities are we might be transfer to other properties.
