English Development

At work we have a daily paper we called Giornale, written there are some of the important things we have in the hotel, like room occupancy, birthday celebrants, events, weather and " Quotes of the day.

At four o clock we do a briefing where in we share ideas and we discuss the things we have in the Giornale. And one of those that takes most of our time is the "quotes of the day" wherein we need to explain how we understand the words. Explaining is not easy for others the reason maybe is because they are not familiar with the word, as most of us are from different country where english is not our mother language.We are Filipinos, Italians,Turkish, Indonesian and Hungarian. And so we are having fun as we explain the quotes of the day.Most of the time it happens that explaining is coming out to be just reading it and then every body will laugh and will go to the next one to explain.

This daily briefing help us in developing and improving our English vocabulary,  When I was in college I want to have more time studying english through discussion wherein everybody gives opinion. For me that is the best practices for me to learn and understand better english.

My work station

This is my workstation, This is where I spend most of my time in the house. When I'm not in this sit I maybe in the bed or in the toilet or at work. From this mini studio I can see my housemates while watching tv or just chatting in. From here I can see everything, the kitchen, the main door, the room door and the toilet. Also if I move back or when I look behind me I can see the view outside as we have the glass wall. I stay here more than I stay on the sofa when watching TV.

I have my laptop here, my yamaha electronic keyboard, my tripod videocam, guitar, books, and small stuffs that I needed. I have my green screen board as a wall.

My studio is messy I tried to organize it but as we all know these cords are made being like that, cannot organize nicely. Maybe in the future everything will be wireless and no cords are needed to power electronics. ( wow it's awesome that it's very easy to write and use this iPhone 4s) by the way I am now using iPhone 4s.

Fixed Nokia C7

Yes.. I  now have my nokia c7 they fixed it and now it's working properly. But then I do not like it now.
I felt that this phone is now over used and exhausted that i have in mind  that anytime it will be brokean again.

I got the phone  after almost a month that is after I sent a complaint letter to the company and to the consumer protection of  Dubai. 

My Nokia C7 has stopped working.

For the second time my nokia C7 is in the service center. I was on my vacation in the Philippines when my nokia C7 has stopped working. The night before i was using my nokia C7's torch to light up my way going to the house of my sister, and because they do not have internet connection I used my nokia C7 as a modem for their netbook and yes it works really well. and then when I wake up in the morning my nokia C7 is dead. I tried everything to revive but nothings work to give back the power. Its still under warranty in the UAE so I decided not to fix it. I wait almost half month and when i get back to UAE i bring it to the shop... blah blah blah they take it and they repaired it. After one week that I am using it again it started to restart by itself until its lost again its power. Again I tried everything.. I removed the battery and put it again, I charged it but still there is no power. I waited one day charging and switching it on but no more. I decided to bring it back to the shop and they will fix it. On October 8 I'm going to pick it up... lets see. Now I have only the back cover, the silicon case, the batterry and micro SD.

Toilet Bowl Pee

There are some men that are lazy to lift off the lid of the toilet bowl. Almost in every toilet i see this toilet lid wet with a pee. These people didn't care for the next user. Why they didn't lift it before peeing? is it okay with them to sit on that lid?

Also there are some people who use this kind of toilet bowl as if its is a eastern toilet bowl. They have their feet on the lid of the toilet bowl and dosn't care about the next user. they have their dirty foot mark on the lid.

So the solution for the next user is to put napkin on the lid, lucky if there is tissue paper on the toilet.

Be good in a shared room

Inside the house, I consider living room as a public place within the people living in the house and for the guest of the house. Living room is also called sitting room or lounges, this is the place in the house where we talk with the guest, where we watch movies where we play loud music etc. Compare with the room, room is a private place in the house normally the owner of the room has his power to do anything he wants to do inside he can be noisy and messy inside.
Some op us are living in a shared room, normally room mates are two three or four people in one room and if you are not lucky the room has more than 5 people. Of course all of you has equal responsibility to respect each other. We canot be noisy if our room mates are sleeping, we can only do things inside the room if the one inside likes what you want to do, if he like loud music you can play loud music. but if he didn't like you can play loud music using your headset. You can ask him if its okay with him to play music etc etc.
Now once we go to living room it is not good that you sleep in the living room, once you stay and sleep in the living room its like you are depriving your room mates to have freedom to the the things they want to do in the living room, you are not in right place to sleep, if you want to sleep you can sleep in your bed in your shared room. remember that your living room is a place for everybody not only for you. You should be aware that once you sleep in the living room there is a big chance that you will be disturb anytime....

Angry birds

Angry birds is a very entertaining game for touch mobile phone and in tablet PCs
I saw angry birds for so many times in the OVI store but i didn't download it. I never heard it before from the people who has iphone or touch phone. i never see anyone playing it before on their phone.
Since its free then my curiosity take me to download it. I tried and really I enjoy it. While playing it you'll learn the techniqes etc.you'll aim for higher score.
The good thing is they are giving an update, it means angry birds is like a never ending game that when you finished all and you get the highest score then they will update and there is new themes of the game.

Nokia C7 movies, files. update...

Beaches in Dubai.

Beach is one of the place where people spend some time to relax and enjoy life. Dubai as it is facing to the arabian gulf has a lot of beaches to go to.
Dubai beaches are nice and clean, I have here three popular beach in Dubai. but still there are lot of beaches to go to. As Dubai is keep on improving the city a lots of development are being made, The Palm, the world which for sure has a nice beaches.

Mamzar Beach Park

Mamzar beach park is the one of the best in dubai becuase it has a very big park with a lot of trees and playgound.









Dubai Marina

Dubai marina beach is "beach on the go" is very accessible and easy to find that is why a lot of people are coming to swim on this beach. this beach has no shower, no toilet, no changing room. . But There are lots of Restaurant, shops along the road. The buildings along the road are usually hotel and residences that has swimming pool i guess open for public as i tried to swim there without any question.

Jumeira beach

Jumeira beach is an open beach along Jumeira road. This is one in the picture is the open beach but has showers and toilets, There is also Jumeira beach Park, I've been there once but did't get a picture. This beach is nice as it has a small park and small green play ground.

Normally along the way going to this beaches is also a beach where people are keep on relaxing and swimming.

My Nokia C7

It's been two months and until now I keep on discovering new things with my nokia C7. Its's amazing.
Way back I am planning to buy a DSLR camera because i saw the dslr of my friend and it takes a very good picture and can take a Full HD videos. Yes latest dslr these days can now take full HD video and i taking videos, editing is my hobby. So so so I was decided to buy canon eos 550 but then when i get home I saw my housemate having a new nokia c7, he let me explore his phone and i found it nice. i mean very nice. video capturing quality is very good. crisp and clear, the image, the picture quality is not so good eventhough it has a 8 megapixel camera because my samsung 5 megapixel camera takes much more nice images quality. But then its okay.
These features of nokia c c7 amazed me.
HD video capture.
Fast internet browsing.
Lot's of application to download from OVI.
Play movies without conversion.
so much more..
